[Setagaya] Dyeing and Weaving Workshop - Purple Root and Peach -

The cold weather continues in February, but in a few days we will reach the beginning of spring and begin to feel the warmth of spring. Let's spend some time dyeing threads with plants and weaving them to blow away the cold.

In February, we start with purple dye. As winter turns to spring, we use the roots of the purple plant to create a color that evokes the balance between cold and warmth. The dye for the latter half of the month is peach. We will dye peach, which is perfect for this season. Why not spend a moment in Kisaragi together, thinking about the coming of spring?

Atelier Shimura's Tea Party ~Christmas Party~

We are pleased to announce the "Christmas Party," a special tea ceremony featuring Christmas-themed utensils and sweets. On the day, items related to Fukumi Shimura, the origin of Atelier Shimura, will add color to the atmosphere. We hope you will enjoy a relaxing time in a quiet space, forgetting the hustle and bustle of the end of the year.
Even if you are attending a tea ceremony for the first time, you are welcome to join us in a kimono or casual attire.
