Indigo leaves are harvested several times in the summer, with the second and third harvests. Continuing from July, we will be preparing fresh indigo leaves to give you a blue color that evokes the joy of summer vacation. Shell ginger, a familiar plant from southern Kyushu to Okinawa, is a dye with a pleasant, refreshing fragrance. Enjoy the color of this tropical plant, even in faraway Tokyo.

Magnolia is a plant that heralds the arrival of spring with its plump flowers. It is also used as an ingredient in perfume, and when its branches are boiled, the air is enveloped in a pleasant fragrance. This time, we will use magnolia to dye something gray, which matches the atmosphere of the rainy season. Open your senses and enjoy the color of the magnolia along with the sound of rain.
