Special talk event "Expression through color - Shimura's small cloth"

Special talk events will be held in Kyoto and Tokyo in conjunction with the "Shimura Tea Accessories Exhibition." Dyeing and weaving artist Yoko Shimura and Atelier Shimura representative Masashi Shimura will talk together about the rich world of color. While looking at actual fabrics of tea accessories, we will delve deeper into the thoughts and creative process that went into the designs. We will also talk about the challenges that came with the production process, and the unique world of color and philosophy that the Shimura family has nurtured. We look forward to your participation.
