[Feature] The joy of wearing colors Atelier Shimura's stoles 2023
We want you to enjoy the "colors" of Atelier Shimura in your daily life. Our scarves are made with that thought in mind. They are dyed and woven by hand, and only a very small number of pieces are produced, so naturally no two are exactly alike. We hope that each scarf will meet a destined person, bring them joy, and add color to their daily lives.

"Colors" that can only be found at Atelier Shimura

At Atelier Shimura, we dye our threads with the intention of bringing out the pure colors of plants as much as possible. The subsequent weaving process creates an interweaving of colors, further enhancing the sense of depth. This "woven color of plants," born from the intersection of warp and weft threads, is the main theme of our creative activities. The colors of nature itself can only be obtained through the careful use of our hands. Come experience the comfort of being enveloped in these special colors.
The theme of the new work in 2023 is "Lines"

For textiles, which are made up of straight lines of warp and weft threads, lines are both a constraint and an infinite possibility. Do we see the lines as lines? Or as colors? The design, which was born from repeated attempts at various approaches, is something we hope you will enjoy wearing, just like an accessory.
Spring, summer, autumn and winter, always together

Atelier Shimura's scarves are made using natural materials, dyes, and processes. The original yarn, developed together with Kondo of Taisho Spinning, known as the "thread magician," is smooth yet dry to the touch, and feels great against the skin. The refreshing fine yarn blends into the air, giving the scarf a soft and light appearance. It will delight those who want to be as particular as possible about the items that come into direct contact with the skin.
