Released on September 1st The Autumn/Winter issue of Kimono Salon featured works by dyeing and weaving artist Shimura Fukumi, titled "Madame Imayo: How to Enjoy Long-Sleeved Kimono" (p. 53), as well as the special exhibition "Learning about Ramie in Showa Village - Handicrafts that Weave Life" (Kimono Salon Tamatebako) (p. 170), which is running until Monday, September 15th (national holiday) at Atelier Shimura Gallery & School in Setagaya, Tokyo . An artist who is a graduate of the Ars Shimura art school is also featured. Please take a look at "Understanding the Gravitational Power of Tsumugi" (p. 141).
