Next year, in 2022, Shimura Fukumi will turn 99 years old. Although it is a little early, to commemorate her 99th birthday, we have created "A Small Window of Re-Sewn Fabrics - Shimura Fukumi Small Re-Sewn Fabrics Collection Box." In addition to the made-to-order sale of "A Small Window of Re-Sewn Fabrics," this special exhibition will feature prototype framing and Fukumi's works made from re-sewn fabrics, such as JUJU, on display and for sale. We will also be selling the critical biography "Shimura Fukumi: Dyeing and Weaving" (Oral Notes and Critical Biography/Furusawa Yukiko), which will be released by Kyuryudo on November 10th, so please take a look at that as well.
