Tankosha is a publishing company that promotes the wonders of Japanese culture, including the tea ceremony, through a variety of businesses, including not only publishing but also planning, producing and selling tea ceremony utensils, Japanese clothing and miscellaneous goods, designing and constructing tea rooms and tea gardens, and running cultural classes and trips. This time, Atelier Shimura will be participating in a tour that allows you to learn and experience Japanese culture.

The tour is based on the theme of " The Colors of the Heian Period " and will include talks and experiences on purple root dyeing, as well as a roundtable discussion on the colors of Heian period costumes between costume master Kuroda Tomoko of Kuroda Costume Shop, a costume supplier founded in the early Edo period, Japanese painter Isayama Hoju, who is in charge of costume design for the NHK Taiga drama "To You, the Light," and Shimura Shoji, president of Atelier Shimura, allowing visitors to learn about and enjoy the charm of the colors of Heian period costumes.
