Morioka Bookstore in Ginza, which operates under the concept of "a bookstore that sells one book at a time," will be holding a publication commemoration event for the photo essay "Voice of Plants and Trees" (lyrics by Shimura Fukumi, text by Shimura Shoji, photographs by Taguchi Yoko).
Along with the book, we will be exhibiting photographs by photographer Yoko Taguchi, who has captured Atelier Shimura's dyeing and weaving through the seasons, as well as the brilliance of the beautiful colors of plants. We will also have products such as hand-woven stoles from Atelier Shimura on display, as well as sweets created by Japanese sweets designer Yuki Fujiwara for this exhibition.
There will also be a talk event with Yoko Taguchi and Masashi Shimura, so we hope you will take this opportunity to attend.
