
This exhibition will feature around 30 photographs by photographer Yoko Taguchi , including some from her photo essay "Voices of Plants" published last November. Silk threads are dyed with the colors of plants, spun onto a loom, and woven. Come and see the handiwork of Atelier Shimura, who are close to nature and listen to its voices.
On the first day of the exhibition, Thursday, June 1st, there will be a gallery talk by photographer Yoko Taguchi and Atelier Shimura representative Masashi Shimura.

Tsuda University 120th Anniversary Photo Exhibition "Voices of Plants" - Where Colors Are Born -
The photo essay "Voice of Plants" is a book in which Atelier Shimura's representative, Masashi Shimura, writes about his thoughts on dyeing and weaving, accompanied by colorful photographs by Kyoto-based photographer Yoko Taguchi, using Shimura Fukumi's words as a guide.
