Loquat: Loquat leaves are dark green and long oval with downy hairs on the underside. They produce white flowers in winter, and in early summer the following year, they produce fruits shaped like a Japanese lute. When dyed with a liquid made by boiling the branches and leaves, they turn a yellowish pale pink or grey color.
