The Shimura Fukumi Kotori Collection is a series that presents print designs of the small fabrics that Shimura Fukumi has woven. A sale of handkerchiefs and new silk scarves will be held at TOBICHI Tokyo from tomorrow, Friday, November 7th.

The " Shimura Fukumi Kosetsu Collection" refers to the art book "Kire no Hako" (Shikosha/1984), which was released 50 years ago in a limited edition of 130 copies and contains 50 small kimono pieces. It contains original, precious kimono pieces that can no longer be seen even in art museums. The 50 small kimono pieces contained in "Kire no Hako" have been digitized and made into easy-to-handle products such as handkerchiefs and stoles.

The original fabrics will be introduced at the venue and on the TOBICHI Tokyo website.

Other items on display at the venue include small sachets and Rikyu bags made in collaboration with Minä Perhonen.
