The people and homes of Kyoto have inherited the "beautiful Japan" of tea ceremony, flower arranging, crafts, and performing arts, and passed it on to the next generation.
This exhibition will feature approximately 70 beautiful pieces, including works by generations of people and tools symbolizing the family, from twelve families that have continued to protect "beautiful Japan" in Kyoto. This time, the works are being exhibited as part of the Shimura family dyeing and weaving project.

Please come to the venue to see the works of Fukumi Shimura and her daughter Yoko Shimura, as well as the "Colors of Shimura" inherited by Atelier Shimura, run by her grandson Shoji Shimura.

During the event, Atelier Shimura products will be on sale in the shop, and depending on the date, tea accessories by Shimura Fukumi and Shimura Yoko will also be on sale.
