"Wanomichi Salon: Shimura Fukumi's Colorful World and Noh Costumes" at Shinyo Kaikan in Kyoto
Atelier Shimura's representative, Masashi Shimura, will be holding a talk event at the "Wano Michi Salon," an event held regularly at the Shinyo Kaikan in Kyoto to promote the appeal of traditional Japanese culture both domestically and internationally. While taking a close look at Fukumi Shimura's works, he will discuss the profound appeal of plant dyeing. Furthermore, we will also view the costumes from the new Noh play "Okimiya" (original story by Michiko Ishimure, Noh costumes by Fukumi Shimura), and explore the world of plant dyeing and Noh in the modern era.

Participation fee: 3,500 yen for adults, 2,000 yen for those under 25 (both include tea and snacks)
Archive viewing: 1,000 yen (Scheduled to be distributed approximately one week after the course date)
