Shimura Fukumi's self-selected essay collection "The End of the Field" ( (Iwanami Shoten) is a definitive collection of essays by dyeing and weaving artist and essayist Shimura Fukumi, carefully selecting her most important essays from the many she has written to date and reorganizing them into three pillars: "I," "Work," and "Thoughts." The cover of the special edition was designed by Shimura Fukumi herself, and Atelier Shimura was in charge of producing the fabric.
